portrait series - PT.3

OFFICIAL SHOOT:

so today was my official shoot with Anne and Graham. I arranged it so it would be when they arrived home from the gym so I could photograph how Anne helps him out the car and into his home. I got some really lovely shots and over all it was incredibly difficult to choose between them all as to which ones to use. I was there for 3 hours shooting with them and honestly they were fantastic to work with. I was showing photos to them both as we were going and that seemed to make them feel more comfortable with me photographing them once they saw some of the results.

I have seen the story of these two people since the beginning. I was 7/8 years old when Graham had his stroke and so doing this was really helpful not only for my project but also therapeutic for me to an extent as well as for them. being able to see how far they have come since it began 10 years ago was really nice for them (they said). and so I'm proud that my project was so sucsessful and I was able to help these people see their progress and the fact that they have come so far. this touched my heart and really made me love doing this.
