so I have now locked down my contributors! I have 5. two stroke Recoverers, one lady with a blood clot, one blind man and my friend. although this is more disabled people than I originally anticipated I think it will work well and show that they all have a voice. I have given them my schedule and I am waiting for conformation.

one to one with Rosie: So Rosie and I spoke about my first idea "idea one" and she told me to think about it in different ways, leading to ideas 2/3. She then said to go away and make something, because I was thinking about hands, I took that a little literally, she also said instead of a mannequin could I create something to represent me, so I made a literal hand. As in I went to the range, brought clay, and made it. Honestly, it makes a pretty good candle holder. But I was thinking about how I could decorate it, so maybe that can work?

Marta Zawadzka "my memories" I found this really abstract image by Marta, she created it to represent the city where she was brought up with her grandparents. She says "there are my roots there is my soul." She says that the painting "is a way to show the wonder of various aspects of existence experiencing joy every day" - the reason it stood out for me is because it's such a lovely and symbolic way to manifest a memory. She is so passionate about her work and her creation. "Paintings are a bridge to my soul", how she speaks about it really grabs me, and I want to create something that makes me feel the same way.

ideas for year 3 grad film

GRAD FILM IDEAS: thinking about my work so far and everything thats gone on for me through the summer a few ideas have come to mind. 1. I am just about to begin receiving help for sexual assault. this is on my mind quite heavily at the moment and so id like to work with it. I figure maybe I could make a dance film using paint, to show the damage it causes and then the recovery. but also showing that it really can happen to anyone. because thats the truth, its something I feel needs to be discussed, and I would like to use my experience to my advantage and do something with it that isn't depressing. 2. a memory room. an immersive experience where everything will be designed to trigger a persons memories, using all the senses and also using photographs and videos. the reason why id like to explore this is mainly because it goes hand in hand with my dissertation idea of photography and memory, so it feels like the most logical choice for research and planning. 3. a panic room -...
