Split Screen - Pt 1

Today we received a new brief for a split screen project on after effects, im not feeling very confident about this as i am really new to after effects and the adobe suite as a whole, having never used it before i started uni, i feel very out of my depth.
Brief:
show the relationship between the human body and the digital world.

My Thoughts:
so i started thinking about what the digital world could mean, and i came up with these options:
- Robotics
- Social media
- phones
- modern day society
- the world in a digital way.

so i looked into a few of these options and found some truly incredible artists:

Marco Escobedo
Escobedo is an artist from Peru who works with both surrealism and the abstract form in his work. he said, "Perceiving reality beyond our senses might seem a fantasy, however it, all fantasy is real reality somewhere, at some space in the universe" he has a back ground in painting which inspired him to explore graphic design, which has enabled him to create art which doesn't conform to a categorical name. His career really became well known in 2009 where he was mentioned on a website called 'Wed Urbanist' which discussed his work in detail. this work is truly extraordinary.
the first image is called 'Universo' and the second is called 'Disintegration'.

the next artist i came across was

Evgeny Kiselev:

Kiselev is a Russian modern day artist who works around 'Magnificent chaos'. i came across him whilst reading about Escobedo on 'Web Urbanist' on a lift called 'Best 10 digital artists and honestly found his work totally enchanting. especially this particular piece called 'Prmpmpm'. most of his work focuses around a series of patterns which look as if they need to be untangled. this particular piece caught my attention because of the bright colours and intricate detailing.

However my biggest inspirational artist for this project is a 20 year old female artist called Martina Stipan, born in 1997, from a very early age Stipan showed a great deal of progress within her work which started in Photoshop 2.0 in 2009. She is from Varaždin, Croatia and her work is based off of her memories which is part of what makes her images so intricate to look at. As Stipan writes on DeviantArt, my personal goal is to become professional graphic designer, but for now this is still my favourite hobby.” and i honestly have to say that her innocence is something that makes her such an inviting artist as her work reflects this part of her personality. she is incredibly enthusiastic about her work and thoroughly enjoys what she does. here are some of her images which inspired me most. the last one inspired me most and i honestly think it is now my favourite piece of art. it is stunning and shows two different sides of the same world, which i think is intelligent and inspiring. i tried to find names of the pieces however with no success.
