Politics - pt 3

 "Conflict Kitchen," 2010

So this one is a little bit different and that's why it's stood out to me. This is a piece of service industry public installation created by two artists called Dawn Weleski and Jon Rubin who created a take out stand in Pittsburg in 2010, only serving food from the country's America was at war with. This made a huge public point about the question, "how would we cope without these countries?", when they each contribute something to America. This piece really stood out for me because it's not your average piece of art work or installation, it pushes the boundaries and it's unusual, and that's why it caught my eye.

It's got me thinking about what I could do that's more modern and out of the box?
