Trumps latest demand:

So I know in a previous post I spoke about how I wanted to work on something that had effected me directly, that's changed. Today in the news trump came out with the news that he didn't want transgender women in the U
CNN - "President Donald Trump on Friday directed the military not to move forward with an Obama-era plan that would have allowed transgender individuals to be recruited into the armed forces, following through on his intentions announced a month earlier to ban transgender people from serving. 
The presidential memorandum also bans the Department of Defense from using its resources to provide medical treatment regimens for transgender individuals currently serving in the military." - further links:

Since I heard I have felt passionately angry about this. Therefore I have decided to design a concept based around this, fighting against the discrimination trump is trying to cause. 
This reminds me slightly of previous dictators of history who also decreed the separation and discrimination against particular groups of people, predominantly minority groups, in order to create an idealist situation, weather that be population or educational differences. And so I decided to look into some old war propaganda for inspiration. 
My personal favourite is "I want you for US army" - Leslie-Judge Co., N.Y (copyright). Probably one of the most famous pieces of WW1 propaganda made and released in 1917 exactly 100 years ago this year. The poster was plastered around American city's. the poster shows the famous face of Uncle Sam, pointing to the reader saying that he wants them to fight for America. Underneath the writing there is a space where recruiters could write their specific nearest recruiting centre. This is such a powerful piece of work because it's a popular American figure who attracts the attention and respect of the American public- their target audience. I imagine this will be a huge inspiration to my concept.
